Working in Partnership 

We have extensive experience of supporting partnership working.

Multi Academy Trusts (MAT)

  • We have worked with Senior Leadership Teams in underperforming MATs  to develop effective leadership practices to secure improvement in the MAT and its schools.
  • Our associates include a chair of a MAT Board, a Trustee and a MAT advisor.

Public Health

  • We have supported Public Health services to manage change and integration into Local Authority infrastructures. 

Private Sector 

  • Our team of associates have a diverse background in working with the private sector to support service redesign and change management .
  • We have supported organisations to develop organisational resilience, trust and vigilance. 

Multi-agency Partnerships

We have provided support for and facilitated a range of Multi agency partnerships including:
  • Children's Trusts.
  • Local Safeguarding Children Boards.
  • SureStart Local Programmes.
  • Children's Fund Boards.

Networks of Teaching Schools and improvement partnerships.

Throughout the life of designated Teaching Schools, we have provided:

  •  'Regional Strategic Advice and Coordination' support to a partnership of 90+ Teaching Schools and two regional Teaching School Council members in the East Midlands, South Yorkshire and Humber region.
  • Support for National Teaching Schools Council, working across all its eight regional areas and with the National Chair.
  • Support to individual and networks of Teaching Schools and their Alliances, partnerships of Teaching Schools and Multi Academy Trusts


Teaching School Hubs

We have supported regional and national networks of Teaching School Hubs throughout their planning into delivery phases. This has included:

  • Individual and collective advice on establishing delivery plans.
  • Developing, implementing and analysing a national Self-Assessment Scheme.
  • Designing and delivering webinars and events to support planning and implementation.
  • Creating a Continuous Quality Improvement (CQI) Framework that integrates Self-Assessment, Peer Review and Professional Development into a coherent iterative cycle. 

Local Authority Networks.

We have worked with Local Authority Networks both nationally and regionally including:

  • Facilitating the national network of Local Authority Early Years Lead Officers.
  • Working with the East Midlands Local Authority School Improvement Group to facilitate partnerships with the region's Teaching Schools, Teaching School Hubs  and MATs.
  • Facilitating the East Midlands Early Years Strategic Leads network.

Central Government Networks.

Kate facilitated and supported:

  • The National Children Centre Leader's Network for the DfE.
  • The East Midlands Partnership of Extended Services Remodelling Advisors.
  • The East Midlands SureStart Local Programme Leaders Network.

School clusters and networks.

  • We have supported local partnerships of schools to explore models and structures that will enable them to meet their objectives.
  • We have worked with school governors and governance structures to support them in their effectiveness.
