Coaching style

  • Kate uses the 'Whitmore Grow' model as a framework for coaching conversations.

G = Goal

R = Reality

O = Options

W = What will you do?

  • She works with individuals, teams and services to support the development of coaching cultures and practices as key developmental tools rather than just for remedial action. Kate is happy to use a range of coaching tools and techniques tailored to the needs of the conversation and preferences of the coachee.
Our Associates have additional expertise and experience that may suit your needs better. Just ask for more information.

Coaching Skills

  • We begin every coaching relationship with  a detailed conversations about the 'coaching contract'.
  • We believe that developing 'rapport' between coach and coachee is crucial and are happy to spend time to achieve this before entering deeper levels of exploration.
  • Only when both coach and coachee are happy that the relationship has the potential to be positive will coaching commence.
  • We are highly skilled in active listening, powerful questioning, reflection, summary and feedback.

Continuous Quality Improvement

  • Kate is an active member of the Association for Coaching and ensures that her coaching practice reflects the Global Code of Ethics.
  • We undertake Continuing Professional Development (CPD) to ensure that our coaching practice develops and matures.
  • We continuously reflect on our practice and request feedback from her clients both during coaching relationships and at the end.

What our clients are saying

"Coaching has given me a much clearer understanding of aspects to consider when planning to have difficult conversations. It has also made me much more mindful about pro-actively dealing with stress. It has given me strategies that I can take back and use."
